D. Extended Constructed Response: Comparison 

  1. Use a venn diagram or a T table to plan your essay.
  2. Write two or three paragraphs comparing how Roger behaves on the street with how he behaves after spending some time with Mrs. Jones. Explain why Mrs. Jones’s belief in his potential helps Roger show his best self.

Adjectives





Did you note the adjectives used in the dialogue? What of the idiom at the end? Do you use comparatives and superlatives in your every day speech?

  1. Make a skit in your group to show your understanding of idioms, and adjectives.
  2. Write down the script.
  3. Act it out.

Compare Contrast Essay

What is it? START HERE

Let us start using the map by comparing any one of the following:
